Piper Serial to Ethernet converter
Like a modem, Piper connects serial ports in one place to those in another, but rather than using the telephone network it uses your ethernet network. Assign an IP number to each Piper and your network acts as a virtual serial cable between the ports. Two RS232 ports with speeds to 115Kb per unit. A host of features make this unit different to the rest of the pack.

Ready to integrate into your own design, this board is the board inside the Piper unit shown above. It allows your to add network connectivity to your own designs where only serial ports were previously available.
The board is only 100mm square and requires a regulated 5vdc at 400ma.

Switch contact e-mail alert unit
SwitchMail monitors a switch or relay contact and sends an email whenever it changes. IEC input power supply unit for Piper, TNC and Switchmail
This switch mode power supply is fitted with an IEC (kettle) connector to suit a mains lead fitted with an IEC socket. The DC output is provided on a 1.5m lead terminated in a 2.5mm barrel plug to suit Piper, TNC and Switchmail.
Mains input - 100 - 240vac, 50/60Hz, 120ma on IEC 320 connector.
DC output - regulated 5Vdc at 4amp (20W) on 2.5mm barrel connector.

This plug top switch mode power supply is designed to plug ino a standard UK three pin mains socket. It is fitted with a 1.8m lead terminated in a 2.5mm barrel plug to suit Piper, TNC and Switchmail.
Mains input - 100 - 240vac, 50/60Hz, 120ma configured as UK mains plug.
DC output - regulated 5Vdc rated at 900ma on 2.5mm barrel connector.
